You need to take extra care when choosing a hotel in the Hua Hin area as the hotels and resorts are scattered along the beach from Cha-Am in the north, Hua Hin in the middle and Pranburi in the south and, if you do not choose wisely, you can find yourself a long way from the centre of Hua Hin. If your don’t see your favourite hotel amongst those offered then let us know and we will give you a quotation.
Some of the biggest names in golf have been involved in the design of golf courses in Hua Hin and it does not get much bigger than Jack Nicklaus. Springfield Royal and Country Club is a Nicklaus course in Hua Hin and he is responsible for the design of the original 18 holes at this venue. Located just 30 minutes from the centre of Hua Hin, it is easy to reach yet nestles in the shadows of the mountains.
The host of the first European Tour event to be played in Thailand plus several Asian PGA Tour events, Black Mountain is popular among both players and fans. Black Mountain is split into the East, North and West Course, with the East being the first set of nine holes created. Many visitors tend to keep to the original 18 holes of golf which means combining the East and North Courses.
Seapine Hua Hin is not a links course but gives the feel of a links course due to its location and the fact there are few trees. You will find the odd palm tree around the 18 holes but you are never going to lose a ball in the trees on this golf course.
One glance at the course and it is easy to see why Banyan Golf Club is so highly regarded. The 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Pirapon Namatra of Golf East, one of the great golf course designers Thailand.
Day 1 – Bangkok or Hua Hin Arrival
You will be met on arrival in Bangkok or Hua Hin and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 – Golf at Banyan Golf Club
You will be collected from your hotel and taken to Banyan Golf Club which is a superb course which is always in great condition. The GPS in the golf cart really helps with shot selection.
Day 3 – Golf at Black Mountain.
After a short transfer you will tee off at Black Mountain, an award-winning course which recently added another 9 holes. Superb service all round.
Day 4 – Golf at Springfield
It will take about 40 minutes to get to Springfield, a challenging 27-hole Jack Nicklaus design with some stunning holes.
Day 5 – Golf at Palm Hills
This 18-hole championship course is designed by the world acclaimed golf architect Max Wexler to challenge golfers of all levels
Day 6 – Golf at Majestic Creek
Majestic Creek is a bit further out of town and was extensively renovated and upgraded and this 27-hole course is now one of the best layouts in Hua Hin.
Day 7 – Departure to Bangkok
We will transfer you to the airport in time to catch your flight home.
(Depending on your flight timings, it might be possible to squeeze in an extra round on the day of arrival or departure.)
