The Ana Crowne Plaza in Chitose was on our first visit to Sapporo in Hokkaido. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy, however, the staff reception was a bit disappointing when we tried to check in early, and was abruptly told to leave our luggage and come back later. The hotel is close to a small shopping mall, and two train stops to a factory outlet. It is convenient to move around by train, the station is only a 5 min walk away.
